finally!

So i've always loved this one picture of Joel and I from our wedding...it was our kiss after we had walked back down the aisle as husband and wife and it was just such a wonderful moment...however...it was always obnoxious that Joel's uncle was directly in the background of the picture...kinda ruining the intimacy of the moment....

Well...problem solved!!!!

I sent out birth announcements after Mackenzie was born but with Alexander's severe colic i never had time to even have pics made before he was 6 weeks old...so i guess i'll just post his at-home snapshot announcement...

Autumn is here in full force...

Recently the weather has changed in these parts...it's below 90 degrees first off, the leaves are changing to vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow as they fall to the ground, and the air has a certain crispness to it.  Autumn has finally arrived!  Kenzie has discovered the leaves piling up in our yard and likes to help 'pile them up.'

New BLOG

I'm starting this blog as my desire for becoming a sort of freelance photographer is growing.  I LOVE photography and LOVE photo editing even more.  My favorite subjects are of course my children so more oftren than not, the pictures I take will be of them.  However, I also love nature.  I love capturing the beauty of the world around us.  God has created a wonderful world full of color and life and I attempt to capture that beauty often.  Hopefully I can work my way up to getting actual clients or something!  If you are interested at all or maybe just have some free time and would be willing to help me out and be a subject, I would love to take your photos!  Families, babies, houses, animals, open space...anything!  So here are some of my photos so far...I hope you enjoy and stick around!
